Easter Fun!

We had a great Easter with our family and enjoyed our first memorable visit from the Easter Bunny.  Luke was pretty stoked when he discovered his Easter basket (according to him his "bag") and even more excited to realize the eggs had "tandy" inside...he opened each egg as he found it and tried to shovel the candy in his mouth, when Drew realized I had hid 18 eggs, he just rolled his eyes at me...fortunately we got Luke moving a little more quickly!  Monday morning Luke was very disappointed when he couldn't find his "bag" I explained that the Easter Bunny had to pick it up so that he would be able to fill it up for next year.  Luke accepted the explanation at face value and hadn't brought it up again until this morning.  He was shuffling around our bedroom looking bummed out and when I asked him what was wrong he put his hands up in the air and said "the bunny took my tandy til next year."  He was relieved to learn that the bunny left the candy and only took his "bag."

We were also excited to join in our street's Easter Egg hunt this year, we met two other little boys that are exactly Luke's age and lots of other kids and families!

Getting pretty excited to make a big fat mess!

Waiting is the hardest part!

And he pretty much tried to eat the eggs, shell and all straight out of the dye!

Looks like the Easter Bunny dropped something off!

More Tandy Please!

The best we could muster for a brotherly Easter pic this year!

Let us out!!!

Neighborhood hunt before the rain!

Because we can...why not walk around in your diaper and socks with your  "bag?"

Love these sweetie pies!

This and That

So much has happened since I last blogged (maybe I started the last post that way too...oops!) We have been busy, but having such a great time.  The kids are great...Bo is 9 months old already, Luke never stops talking and we are having a great time.

March is our favorite time of the year and this year our Jayhawks surprisingly made it all the way to the final four in New Orleans!  We were so blessed with grandparents that were willing and able to take the kids for 4 days while we escaped with our friends to cheer on our Jayhawks!

There are probably a million cute and great things I could share but for now, here are a few pics from our last month..Easter to follow in a separate post!

Sweet Bo, already such a zest for life!  Could not imagine our lives without him!

Happy Birthday Nonni!  Luke sang Happy Birthday to Nonni for a week!  He loves to sing...his favorite songs,  Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, the ABCs, Thomas and Friends and the Rock Chalk Chant!

Not chocolate...that's mud...he likes to get really dirty...and I LOVE it! Spray and Wash won't be going out of business any time soon!

Sweet brothers!

Four Future Jayhawks!  Cheering on the team to the final four!

Enjoying a kid free weekend with our college buddies

Luke leaving his mark on our new patio!

Welcome Charlie!  Our third nephew was born 4.11.12 to proud parents Roger and Jenny!  Can't wait to meet him!

Such a sweetie!
Eating big boy meals now!  He has yet to meet a food he doesn't like!
